Delete your The Letter account
You can request permanent deletion of your The Letter account and associated personal data from inside the app or by email if you no longer have access to the application.
Delete process
If you no longer have access to the application, email support@contact.theletter.eu with the subject Account deletion request.
The request should come from the same email address used to create the account. Identity verification may be required before deletion is completed.
Data that will be deleted
- User account
- Profile information
- Journals
- Journal pages
- Emotional states
- Therapist relationships
- Support requests
- Google integration metadata and any remaining OAuth credentials
- Any user-generated content
- Encrypted journal content
Data that may be retained
Limited information may be retained only when required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, accounting, or regulatory compliance.
No journal content will be retained for these purposes.
Processing time
Deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days.
Uninstalling the application does not delete your account.
